Front-Facing Orientation
Standard single-sided templates show the design’s front face with the pole and base to its left. To put the pole and base on the right, flip the template shapes horizontally when preparing artwork. Flip only those shapes, keeping the flag design itself the correct way round.
Double-Sided Flags
Double-sided flags use two knitted polyester graphics with a blockout membrane between them. All three layers are stitched together and delivered as a single item.
Our bases are not designed to carry the additional weight of double-sided flags. Their warranty therefore does not cover use with double-sided graphics.

Notice
Position flags thoughtfully: air pollution may grey white areas, while prolonged UV exposure can fade and deteriorate the fabric.
Wash in a regular machine at 30° without detergent. Allow the flag to dry completely before storage.
Keep the flag clear of its pole and nearby objects to prevent catching or snagging. Leave sufficient space between poles.
Dismantle in adverse weather or winds exceeding Beaufort 4 (13–18mph). Heavy rain increases the fabric’s weight and, combined with strong winds, can add strain to the pole.
Working life depends on weather conditions and hours flown. For regular use, six months is a realistic maximum lifespan.
Choose a base that matches both the flag size and the ground surface where it will be displayed.
Choose your flag orientation and base around the position where it will be displayed. The artwork template helps keep the design facing the intended direction, while appropriate spacing reduces the chance of fabric catching on nearby objects. Keep the stated wind limit and washing guidance in mind, and take the flag down when conditions require it. Following the care instructions supports the best appearance during regular use.
