Fabric Mesh Building Wraps

High-Impact Building Wrap Graphics

Give a construction site or renovation a clear visual identity with Fabric Mesh Building Wraps from Banner&Board. These lightweight, durable graphics turn scaffolding and façades into large-format advertising space for property developments, temporary building elevations, brand messages and architectural imagery. They let your project communicate while work continues behind the wrap.

The 230gsm fabric mesh is made from 100% polyester, combining full-colour graphics with a perforated structure that allows airflow. This makes it a useful option for large outdoor installations where material weight, wind exposure and handling all need consideration.

Polyester mesh folds for transport and storage, making large graphics easier to distribute, handle and install than traditional rolled PVC materials.

Every wrap is printed and finished to your specification, with dimensions and configuration tailored to the project.

Why Choose Polyester Fabric Mesh for Building Wraps?

Lightweight for Large Installations

At 230gsm, the fabric is substantially lighter than many conventional PVC banner materials.

This lower weight can be particularly useful across extensive scaffold elevations or where graphics need to be handled at height.

Lighter fabric can simplify transport and positioning while reducing the overall printed-material weight. The complete installation still needs assessment for loading, fixing arrangements and site conditions.

Perforated Construction for Improved Airflow

Wind and other environmental conditions affect all large building-wrap installations.

Perforations let air move through the fabric more freely than through solid banner materials, helping reduce wind resistance.

That airflow suits scaffold and façade graphics, but a competent person must still assess the wind loading of the whole installation.

Vibrant, High-Resolution Graphics

Dye-sublimation printing uses specialist inks that are heat-fixed into the polyester fibres.

It produces vivid, detailed, scuff-resistant imagery for architectural designs, company branding, promotional messages and property visualisations.

The professional finish is intended to create strong visual impact over substantial viewing distances.

Easier Transportation and Site Handling

Fabric mesh folds for transport without the same concerns about pinching, creasing and oversized rolls associated with many PVC products.

This is especially helpful when individual building-wrap sections cover a considerable area.

Folded packaging simplifies storage, delivery and distribution around a construction site, reducing some of the challenges of moving large rolled graphics.

Temporary fold creases generally reduce when the fabric is tensioned. Appropriate, careful ironing can also help where suitable.

A PVC-Free Material Alternative

A 100% polyester construction offers a PVC-free alternative for projects seeking to avoid PVC banner substrates.

Low weight, foldable packaging and scope for reuse may support the project’s particular sustainability objectives.

The overall environmental effect depends on production, transport, how often the fabric is reused and end-of-life arrangements.

Custom Sizes and Finishing

Made-to-order production lets the graphics match your building dimensions and proposed installation.

Standard finishing uses reinforced machine-sewn hems and rust-free plastic eyelets as fixing points for compatible systems.

Large façades can use multiple graphic sections to suit production-width limits and the overall installation size.

Under standard pricing, each individual section has a maximum printable dimension of 3 metres on its shortest edge. Larger sections or specialist finishes require a bespoke quotation.

Discuss panel dimensions, artwork and production requirements with us before planning a larger installation.

Artwork Requirements

Include 50mm bleed on every artwork edge for accurate building-wrap production.

This allowance covers sewn hems, trimming, fabric movement and shrinkage during production.

For multi-panel wraps, provide a complete elevation design with dimensions and panel positions. Agree overlaps, joins, fixings and allowances for structural obstructions before production.

Important Information

The mesh is relatively tightly knitted, but some light and background visibility can remain, especially with illumination from behind. Consider this when covering scaffolds, exposed structures or partially completed façades.

Graphics are folded into polybags. Creasing generally reduces with careful tensioning at installation or appropriate ironing.

Black and white are the standard thread colours; the one that best complements the graphic will be selected.

Building wraps add loads to scaffolding or other supports, particularly in windy conditions. Suitably competent professionals must assess and approve the structure, fixing approach and installation. A mesh construction does not remove wind loading.

Confirm fire-performance certification and suitability for the specific building, scaffold or construction project before ordering. The material specification does not imply a particular fire classification.

Bespoke Building Wraps and Large-Scale Projects

For a branded refurbishment scaffold, a full-height development façade or a multi-panel building graphic, Banner&Board can help specify the printed material around your project.

Contact us with building dimensions, artwork needs and proposed installation details for a bespoke quotation.

Planning the graphic and the installation together helps make a large building wrap easier to specify. Consider the elevation dimensions, proposed panel layout and fixing positions alongside the artwork, rather than treating the print as a single uninterrupted sheet. The material can be folded for handling, but its position, supporting structure and installation conditions still determine how the finished wrap should be fitted.
